Introducing...

Hello, this is my first blog, unless you count Xanga in college. Eek! That might give away my age right there! HA! Since I know this blog will be in la la land, and be lost on the world wide web, I am not sure how well I'll do to keep it up. However, it is my desire to encourage others to live a life of joy that is pleasing to God. I am a Christian, I believe in God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. I believe in the Trinity and they are three in one (kind of like someone being a father, a son, and a husband at the same time- different roles, same person). I believe Christians need to share the Gospel with everyone. People of all ages, ethnicities, and religions need to know Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Everyone needs to know Jesus is Lord of ALL. And "... all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God." (John 1:12 NLT emphasis mine) Do you believe that God sent His Son to die on the cross for YOUR sin? If you believe, you must also accept Him as your Lord and your Savior. Believing is not quite enough. The Bible says "You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror." (James 2:19 NLT) I have known people who believe, they acknowledge God is real, they believe Jesus died on the cross, and yet they say they aren't ready to accept Him as Lord. Will they go to heaven? That's between them and God, it's not for me to say, but it is sad to me that they choose to hold back. They choose to wait. God's word says no one knows the day or the time He will choose to come back. We need to be ready. There is an old song (again, giving away my age) by Crystal Lewis that says "People get ready Jesus is comin

Please, if you are holding back, don't. If you believe, then what's holding you back? Open your heart and receive Jesus today!

I am a follower of Christ, I am not perfect, but I love Jesus.
