2022.07.29 No Connection Found
Hello Friends,
It's been a few weeks since I last wrote. I've been out of town with very little internet access. It seemed very foreign to me, that in 2022 I could go on vacation to an area of the United States that had very spotty internet connection. Even trying to use the GPS on my phone I got "No Connection Found." In a way, it was nice, no news, no e-mail, only a few phone calls, and texts that would come through whenever there was a connection long enough to download the text. But I also hated it, we live in a very connected world, and not having instant access (if needed) to the outside just made me glad I had family with me.
We never get a "no connection found" when we pray to our Heavenly Father. In fact, in Hebrews 4:16, we are told to "...draw near with confidence to the throne of grace..." and in Psalm 34:15 "... His ears are attentive to their cry" ("their" being the righteous). Isn't it great, that we will ALWAYS have that open connection to our Lord?
I'm going to keep this post short, so you have time to think and reflect on the connections in life that are most important to you. I hope you consider occasionally putting Facebook and other distractions in the "no connection found" column, but always keep your connection to God open.
I am a follower of Christ, I am not perfect, but I love Jesus.
Until Next Time,
Liz Allen
